Membership Information
In order for all participants to be eligible for CIJGA events, players must fill out and return the membership application to the Central Junior Golf Office. The CIJGA will use the membership fees to help offset tournament expenses, course fees, and other items that are necessary to run a tournament program. All CIJGA members will receive a rule book and an official CIJGA bag tag indicating their membership.
PARTICIPANT'S AGE
In order to participate in the CIJGA, the participant must be 12 years old before participating in his/her first tournament and no older than 18 by July 9, 2008. If a participant's age changes midway through the golfing tournament schedule, he/she will advance to the next age group.
RULES TEST
For all participants, there will be a mandatory test to be taken and turned in. Click here to access the test online. The test must be completed and turned in before playing in the first tournament. If the test is not completed before participating in the first tournament, it will be available at the tournament site to complete.
TOURNAMENT ENTRIES
ALL tournament entries must be received and in the CIJGA post office box by the entry deadline. Any entry not received by this date will be placed on an alternate list. If the player cannot be added to the tournament, the entry fee will be refunded at the end of the season..
TOURNAMENT REFUNDS
Requests for tournament refunds are to be made by emailing the CIJGA at ss.beam@comcast.net The CIJGA must be notified one week before the actual tournament date in order to receive a refund. All refunds will be processed at the end of the season.
NOTICE OF MAXIMUM SCORE POLICY
In order in insure all participants' speed of play, the CIJGA has adopted a maximum stroke per hole policy. Any junior reaching 10 strokes is required to pick up their ball and record a 10 on their scorecard.
